In our area

Many parents in our area are looking for private music instructors for their children. And that's important -- music is shown to be a major contributor to brain development and to students' success in school. If you are one of these parents, the Piedmont Music Club has a local teacher referral program to help you locate the perfect teacher in the perfect location for your needs. We can help you locate music teachers in Northern Virginia including Manassas, Gainesville, Haymarket, Bristow, Nokesville, Warrenton, Leesburg, Ashburn, Middleburg and the broad area surrounding.

Outside our area

In addition, if you are outside or at the very outskirts of our area, we do have contacts within other music clubs (Woodbridge, Rappahannock/ Fredericksburg, Springfield and Charlottesville for example) and would be happy to refer you to them for teacher placement.

Meeting your needs

Are you homeschooling your student? We have specialists in homeschool music programs. Do you want your student in a Suzuki program? We've got them! Is your student a very young beginner? Intermediate? Very advanced? Special needs? An adult just starting or returning to music study? Among our members we have specialists in each of those areas.

It doesn't matter if the instrument is voice, piano, percussion, woodwind, brass or strings; whether the style is classical, pop, country, jazz/blues, contemporary/rock, hymns/church music or other(s); or whether the setting is solo, in an ensemble or in group instruction--we have teachers who can fill the bill.

We have some teachers who will travel to your home, some with commercial studios, and many with home studios right in your neighborhood.
